Groundwater Monitoring

RREC has been actively involved in groundwater assessment for over a decade and has gained project experience at a variety of sites and hydrogeological settings including, upstream oil and gas well sites and batteries, waste management facilities, fractured bedrock, and more.

RREC holds an Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta permit to practice covering the competency of hydrogeology, which is maintained and managed by professional hydrogeologists on our team. We recognize that groundwater assessment is not a “one size fits all” approach and each assessment or monitoring program is tailored to specific project objectives.

Groundwater Assessments in Support of:

  • Conceptual site model development

  • Tier 2 pathway elimination e.g., DUA exclusion

  • Tier 2 guideline modification e.g., FAL recalculation

  • Tier 2B and Tier 2C SST applications

  • Site specific risk assessment

  • Remedial action plans

  • Risk management programs

  • Aquifer testing and hydrogeological characterization
